1st Draft? Not so bad!
Our rough cut was not as bad as we thought it would be. When it came to start the editing of our title sequence we were still quite new to all the technology and the computer programmes. However once we got used to it we were making progress. A rough cut is a sketch up of the real sequence, its purpose is to take a look at your ideas on the screen and see if you can improve it. You do this with the help of feedback from peers and teachers. We were really pleased with the feedback we were given from our rough cut, it helped us direct our project in the direction we wanted to go. We received comments such as
" i really like the ident you created"
"i think it is really cool how the heartbeat carry's on throughout the blank screens"
" How did you do the zoom out effect on the camera"
However we also were given feedback such as:
" Your ident is too long"
" You need to add the titles in"
" I think you should add more sounds"
Getting feedback is good because it means that we were able to change some things in order to reach a wider audience as well as our own target audience. One of the main changes we made due to feedback was the order of our title sequence. after we changed it, everything ran smoother.
